I decided that I wouldn’t include winners in this list otherwise the likes of Altior (Nicky Henderson), Buveur D’Air (Nicky Henderson), Frodon (Paul Nicholls) and Cap Soleil (Fergal O’Brien) would have made the list. How Trainers and Owners could and should be using our Ratings

As well as punters and professional gamblers using our ratings, we suggest that Trainers and Owners should also be using our ratings. We are in the position to be able to provide 5 day declarations to owners and trainers in ratings format.

This means Trainers and Owners can find out where their horses are rated and if they are multiple entered they can assess to find the race that is the weakest or suits them the most.

Today we have had a look at the Cheltenham card on Friday and Saturday and also the Aintree card for Sunday.

Cheltenham Festival Part IV – Championship Chases

In this part we have looked at the Championship Chase races of the Queen Mother Champion Chase, The Ryanair Chase and the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Champion Chase

Un De Sceaux is a short priced odds on favourite and probably wins this race if he gets round however 2 falls on CV are the concern.

Un De Sceaux won the Arkle Chase last year at the Cheltenham Festival and ended his season winning the Ryanair Chase at Punchestown over 2 miles. Champion Hurdle

This race revolves all around Faugheen and he has been priced up accordingly with all of his rivals looking to be aimed at placing behind him.

Faugheen is the reigning champion having won this race last year having previously won the Neptune Novices Hurdle the year before. The Supreme Novices Hurdle currently has a short priced favourite in Min for Willie Mullins and Mr Rich Ricci. Supreme Novices Hurdle

A fast pace was set by Champagne Fever just like he did when winning the Champion Bumper last season and again this proved to be perfect. Coming off the bridle just after the 2nd last Ruby Walsh kept pushing along and Champagne Fever kept finding for him. He held off My Tent Or Yours and Jezki up the hill and looks a smart horse.

With Cheltenham just around the corner many of these that ran at Newbury at the weekend are likely to bypass the Cheltenham Festival and wait till Aintree.

Over at Doncaster our former TOP TIP AaimTo Prosper stepped up in distance as we had hoped and duly won a handicap hurdle in great style just beating the well handicapped and gambled Cockney Trucker.
