What are the numbers next to a horse's name?
The number beside a horse's name shows how many times that horse has been selected in the NAP Competition (could be NAP, NB or 3B).
What the numbers mean

The number beside a horse shows how many times it's been selected in the NAP Competition, as a NAP, NB or 3B. In the example above, the top-rated Ombudsman has 29 next to him, so he'd been picked 29 times.
Think of it as a quick popularity gauge: a high count means a runner is widely fancied by other players, handy context when you're settling on your own selections.
What each tier sees
| Member | Sees selections from |
|---|---|
| Free | Other Free members only |
| Premium | Free, Premium and Professional members |
| Professional | Free, Premium and Professional members |
So Premium and Professional members see the full picture across every tier, another good reason to upgrade. Compare the tiers on What's included in a Premium account?, and for every other column on the grid see the ratings columns reference.
