The ratings won't load or display correctly
Display problems are usually a browser cache or connection issue. These steps clear it up.
When the ratings won't load, show a blank grid, or display with broken columns, it's almost always something on the device or browser end rather than a problem with the ratings themselves. Work through the steps below in order, most people are fixed by the first two.
Quick fixes (in order)
- Hard-refresh the page with Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac). This forces the browser to fetch the latest version instead of a stale cached one.
- Try a private / incognito window, or a different browser entirely (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari). If it works there, the issue is cached data in your normal browser, clear the cache for the site.
- Disable ad-blockers and privacy extensions for the site. Aggressive blockers can strip out the scripts the ratings grid needs to draw.
- Check your connection. A weak mobile signal or a dropped Wi-Fi connection can leave the grid half-loaded. Switch networks if you can.
- Update your browser if it's an old version, then refresh again.
Still not loading?
The full WebRatings grid is data-heavy. On older phones or tablets, loading every race at once can struggle, load one meeting at a time rather than All Races. For a refresher on the different ways in, see How to navigate the ratings, and if you're trimming the grid down to fewer columns to lighten it, see Customising your ratings view & columns.
If you've just upgraded and the limited view is the issue rather than a loading failure, that's a session problem instead, see I upgraded but can't see the full ratings.
