Grouping ProStats by RTR Score

Grouping ProStats by RTR Score splits the entire database into rating bands, so you can compare how horses at each RTR Score level have behaved in one view.

ProStats can do more than filter, it can group. Instead of one big total, the Group by control breaks your results into rows so you can compare like with like. Grouping by RTR Score is one of the most useful ways to slice it.

How to group by RTR Score

On the ProStats page, find the dropdown at the top of the controls, it reads All by default. Open it and choose RTR Score. The results table redraws with one row per RTR Score band, from the lowest scores up through the highest, plus an All row for the overall total.

For each band you get the usual ProStats columns, Runs, winners, strike rate, and the exchange (XSP) and industry (ISP) profit-and-loss and ROI, so you can see how each rating level stacks up side by side.

Make it your own

Grouping and filtering work together. Add data filters, a course, a distance, a going, a race type, and the bands recalculate for just that slice, so you can ask questions like "how do the top RTR Score bands hold up over sprint trips at this track?"
