The R Filter: read form by race type
One click on the R Filter and the R columns show only the runs from that discipline: Flat, hurdles, chases, all-weather or bumpers.
A horse's last ten runs can mix codes: a hurdler with a couple of Flat runs, a chaser with bumper form buried in the figures. When you're weighing up today's race, form from another discipline can be noise. The R Filter cuts it out.
Where to find it
In every race card's header, next to the AV dropdowns, you'll see R Filter: with six buttons:

What it does
Click a discipline and every past run in the R columns that isn't from that code is blanked to a dash. What's left is pure discipline form: choose CHS on a novice chase card and you're reading each horse's chasing record only, with hurdle and Flat runs hidden.
Two things it deliberately doesn't touch:
- The AV columns, ranks and colours stay as they are, they're still computed from the full form. The filter changes what you read, not what we calculate. (To change what the averages use, see Choosing your AV windows.)
- Nothing is deleted, click ALL and the full form comes straight back.
The filter applies across the page while you study, and resets to ALL when you move to another meeting or race time.
When it earns its keep
- Novice chases: filter to CHS and see instantly who has actually jumped a fence in public.
- Summer jumpers with Flat form: HDL strips out the Flat runs that can flatter an R-figure line.
- All-weather specialists switching between turf and AW: the AW view shows whether the surface is the story.
