LTO Stats: last time out angles

LTO Stats scans today's and tomorrow's runners for last-time-out angles: our top-rated winners, the NAP crowd's picks, your picks and market signals.

Last Time Out Stats is a dashboard widget for Premium and Pro members. It looks at every horse running today or tomorrow (there's a toggle) and pulls out the ones whose last run has a story worth knowing.

The angles

• Top Rated Winners, horses that were our number one rated last time out and won. They arrive today with proven recent form and you can see their RTR rank for today alongside.
• Most Selected, the winners, horses that were the NAP Competition crowd's most popular pick in their last race and delivered.
• Most Selected, the ones that didn't win, the crowd favourites that got beaten last time. Sometimes a legitimate excuse means value today.
• Selected by Me, horses you personally picked (NAP, NB or 3B) in the competition last time they ran, with how they got on. Your own shortlist, resurfaced on the day it matters.
• Trading Short, a Pro-only angle: horses whose in-running price crashed to a fraction of their starting price last time, meaning they were nearly winning at some stage. You can set how short (50% to 99% shorter) and over how many recent runs.

Each list shows the horse, today's race, the last-time-out race and the relevant result or pick counts, with links through to the racecards.

Why last time out matters

A horse's most recent run is the freshest evidence there is. LTO Stats does the overnight trawling for you, so instead of combing every card for "didn't that nearly win last time?" moments, they're waiting on your dashboard each morning.
