The Horse Database

Conceptprofessionalnew

The Horse Database lets you search every horse in our system by the official mark it holds today, along with its age, sex, trainer, sire and how long it has been off.

The Horse Database is a Professional tool for looking horses up by what they are right now. You'll find it on the Horses tab, alongside NAPs, Selections, NagMe and ProStats.

The Horse Database: filter by discipline, official rating, age, sex, trainer, days off and more, then sort the results by any column

The other half of ProStats

The two tools answer opposite questions:

  • ProStats tells you how horses rated X have performed.
  • The Horse Database tells you which horses are rated X today.

So once ProStats has shown you an angle, the Horse Database is where you go to pull out the actual horses that fit it.

Searching

Set the Discipline first (Flat, All-Weather, Hurdle or Chase), because an official rating only means something within its own code. Then narrow with any of:

  • OR from / to, the official rating band you're after
  • Age, Sex and Min runs
  • Days from / to, how long since the horse last ran
  • Distance (f), the distance of its last run

Hit Search, and Reset to start again.

ColumnMeaning
ORThe official mark it holds today, with any recent mark move in brackets, such as (+5) or (-1)
Rated LTOThe mark it actually carried last time out
DaysDays since its last run
RunsHow many times it has run
Last runThe date and course of its most recent run, linking to that racecard

Every column with an arrow is sortable, so you can order the whole list by mark, by days off, by number of runs, or by most recent run. Click any horse to open its full history.
