Build Your Own Card
Only interested in handicaps over 7 furlongs with a big field? Build Your Own Card cuts the day down to the races you care about, everywhere you look.
Most days carry more racing than anyone wants. Build Your Own Card lets you describe the races you actually bet, and then quietly removes everything else from your day.
You'll find it on your dashboard, in the Races panel: the Build Your Own Card button under the day tabs.
What you can pick
Tick as many or as few as you like:
- NAPs: just the races in today's NAP Competition.
- Race Type: Flat, AW, Hurdles, Chase or NH Flat.
- Handicap: handicaps only, or everything but.
- Kind Of Race: Maiden, Novice or Conditions.
- Runners: 1 to 4, 5 to 7, 8 to 15 or 16+, labelled with the places each field size usually pays.
- Class: the full ladder, with Class 1 split into Group and Grade races, Listed and Listed Handicaps, because a Group 1 and a Listed Handicap have nothing in common but a number.
- Distance, Ages, Going and Win Prize (£10k+, £25k+, £50k+, £100k+).
Only the bands the day actually holds are offered, so a jumps card never shows you a sprint chip and a Flat card never offers 3m+.
The whole day follows it
This is the part that makes it worth using. Once your card is built, it isn't just a filtered list: the course tabs, the time strip, the next and previous arrows, Next Race Off and the race and meeting dropdowns all narrow to your races. Click through the day and you only ever land on a race you chose.
As you tick, the dialog counts what you have left at the bottom, for example Showing 18 of 36 races at 5 meetings, so you can see how tight the card is getting before you commit. Press Build and the day reshapes around it.
A Your Card chip then sits in the toolbar with the number of races in it. Clear that chip, or press Clear in the dialog, and the full day comes straight back. A build lasts for your current visit.
