Handicap Mark Changes

A couple from the flat here including one for Royal Ascot and a few for the next National Hunt Season including 2 that SURELY have to be aiming at handicaps!

Graded to Handicap

Liam looks at a race yesterday where a horse should have been a max bet for some punters/analysts/tipsters and yet bizarrely […]

Handicap Mark Changes!

Liam looks at the Flat handicap mark changes and the hurdle handicap mark changes and highlights future targets such as the Chester Cup, the Greatwood Hurdle and even a long term Coral Cup plan that would annoy 95% of you!

Liam looks at the Chase handicap mark changes and highlights horses that he genuinely feels could end up in the Ladbroke Trophy, a horse he wants to see in the Ladbroke Trophy and one who most likely will be campaigned with the Grand National in mind next season!

The Handicap Changes!

Liam looks at the handicap mark updates and highlights a horse he really thinks could be taking in the wrong race next time (against another exceptionally well handicapped horse) and a horse he hopes to see at Market Rasen in the summer.

Aintree Day 1

It worked with Bravesmangame, could he do it again?

Grand National – Weights revealed

Will Tiger Roll run?

Liam looks at the weights for the Grand National and is pretty pleased with those allocated to his selections highlighted in a previous blog. He also thinks there are a couple of additions to look at.

Burrows Saint @ 28/1

Burrows Saint off the same 156 mark and a year older looks to have a great chance. He came there travelling best of all 2 out and looked like the winner but didn’t quite get home. Hopefully he has more stamina as he’s another year older and 28/1 looks a big price for a horse who is surely going […]

Grand National Thoughts – who was the unlucky loser last year?

2022-02-15T10:26:23+00:00January 26th, 2022|

Grand National – Aintree – Saturday 9th April 2022

Who was the unlucky loser?

Any Second Now @ 16/1

Any Second Now made quite a bad mistake at the 10th and it was a good sit and that was the only mistake Any Second Now made but that’s not why he was unlucky. Any Second Now takes off at the 12th 1/2 length behind the eventual winner Minella Times in 9th & 10th place. Upon landing he is hampered by the fall of Double Shuffle and ends up back in 18th and about 10 lengths behind Minella Times. He then had to make his effort to close on the winner […]

Here are our NATIONAL HUNT HORSES TO FOLLOW for the 2017-2018 season Although the National Hunt Season has drawn to a close, National Hunt racing doesn’t really stop and there are some good prizes over jumps during the summer, although I’m not sure if any of these will be aiming for such prizes. Hopefully we have highlighted horses in this blog post that will be well worth following next season in some of the feature handicaps. Charli Parcs Trained by Nicky Henderson and Owned by Mr J P McManus Charli Parcs is a great starting point as he will split opinions. After winning a Juvenile Hurdle in France he […]
