Your first 5 minutes: a quick tour
Welcome to RatingTheRaces. This quick tour points you at the things worth seeing first so you can get a feel for how the ratings work.
Where to look first
Once you are logged in, the day's racing loads automatically. Each race shows every runner scored by the RTR model, ranked strongest to weakest.
- Pick a meeting and race from the selector at the top.
- Scan the RTR Rank column, runner 1 is the model's top-rated horse.
- Tap any column heading to re-sort the field by that stat.
What to try next
- Re-rank a race by any stat, see How to sort by different columns.
- Tidy your view by hiding columns you don't use, see Customising your ratings view & columns.
- Enter the free competition, see What is the NAP Competition?.
- Track a horse so you're emailed when it next runs, see How to add a horse to your NagMe.
Want the fast index to everything? See the RatingTheRaces cheat sheet.
New to the figures themselves? Start with What do the R figures mean? then AV3, AV10 and their ranks.
