Whether you just fancy a fresh password or you think someone else may know your current one, the route is the same: the reset link. It works whether you're signed in or locked out, and takes about a minute.

Change it with a reset link

1. Go to the reset password page (it's also linked from the login screen).
2. Enter the email address on your account and submit.
3. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for the link, follow it and set your new password.

Pick a password that holds up

• Make it long: a short phrase of a few unrelated words beats a single tricky word.
• Don't reuse a password from another site, a leak somewhere else shouldn't put your RatingTheRaces account at risk.
• A password manager will generate and remember a strong one for you.

Changing your password is also the right move if you ever think someone else has your login, do it straight away, then contact us if anything still looks wrong on your account.
