The Weight column

Weight and mark belong side by side: the Wgt column now sits directly beside OR on the racecard, and the same figure flows into the spreadsheet downloads.

The Wgt column shows the weight each horse carries today, in stones and pounds, and it sits directly beside the OR column so the two halves of the handicapper's equation read together.

For members who work in spreadsheets, the downloads carry it too:

  • Weight (lbs) joins the XLS and CSV downloads as a plain number, ready for your own sums.
  • Professional members' downloads also gain a Last Handicap Win block: the mark, weight and date of each horse's most recent handicap win, so a below-the-last-winning-mark check is one column comparison in your own sheet.

Hovering the weight on the racecard still opens the weight-carried record with the horse's history by weight band, covered in Weight carried, and how each horse handles it.

R figures are RatingTheRaces calculated performance figures for each run, R1 is the most recent outing, working back through R2 to R10 for older form.
