How to sort by different columns

How-topremium / professional

Sorting the ratings is really easy, simply click on the column heading you want to sort by.

Sorting lets you re-rank the whole field by whatever matters to you in a given race, instead of always reading it in the default RTR Rank order. It's one of the quickest ways to make the ratings work the way you think.

How to sort

Simply click on the column heading you want to sort by. The grid instantly re-orders every runner by that stat.

In the right-hand corner of the race details you'll then see exactly what the ratings for that race are now sorted by, so you always know which column is driving the order. In the default RTR Rank order the label sits quietly in white:

Sorted by RTR Rank

The moment you sort by anything else, that label changes to the new column and turns orange, an instant reminder that you're no longer in the model's default order. Here it is sorted by the finishing position (Pos):

Here's a video showing you how (just in case):

Useful columns to sort by

  • RTR Rank, back to the model's overall order at any time.
  • AV3 Rank / AV10 Rank, find the most consistent recent form; see AV3, AV10 and their ranks.
  • R1, surface the best most-recent run; see What do the R figures mean?.
  • Any strike-rate column (jockey, trainer, sire, going) to lead with the in-form runners.

Not sure what a heading means? The full ratings columns reference defines every column. If you only ever sort by a handful of stats, you can hide the rest, see Customising your ratings view & columns.
