Replacing a non-runner
When a pick in your NAP Competition entry is declared a non-runner, you can replace it with another horse. We tell you by email and on X so your entry stays strong.
Non-runners happen. With our new replacement feature, a withdrawn horse no longer costs you a selection, you simply swap it for another runner.
How it works
- If one of your three picks (NAP, NB or 3B) is declared a non-runner, we let you know straight away, by email and on X (Twitter).
- Open your entry for the day and you'll see the non-runner flagged.
- Choose a replacement horse from the day's racing in its place.
- Your entry is updated, back to three live selections.
Why it matters
Before, a non-runner could leave you a selection short on the day. Now you keep a full hand: pick a new horse and stay in the running for that week's cash prizes and Premium ratings.
Keep an eye on your inbox and on X once declarations are out, the sooner you swap, the better. New to the competition? Start with What is the NAP Competition? and How do I play it?.
