The daily NAP prizes: up to 3 days of Premium ratings
Every race day, the top 3 Free members on the daily NAP leaderboard win free Premium ratings: 3 days for 1st, 2 days for 2nd and 1 day for 3rd. Your days start the next day.
The weekly and monthly prizes take a run of good days to win. The daily NAP prizes only take one. Every day the NAP Competition runs is a fresh competition, and the top 3 on that day's leaderboard win full Premium ratings, free.
What you win
| Daily leaderboard place | Your free Premium ratings |
|---|---|
| 1st | 3 days |
| 2nd | 2 days |
| 3rd | 1 day |
The prizes are the same on every race day of the week. Your days start the day after you win, so 1st place on a Wednesday gives you Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 2nd place on a Friday gives you Saturday and Sunday.
It's the same full racecard a paying Premium member sees, for every race on the days you've won. On Friday 2 October our Top Rated, The Ducks Walk, won at Gowran Park at an Exchange SP (XSP) of 12.84.
Who can win
- Free members. The prize is free Premium ratings, so it's for players who don't already have them. Premium and Professional members, and anyone on a Premium trial, can still finish in the top 3, but there's no daily prize for them, and their place isn't passed down. If a Premium member finishes 1st, the player in 2nd still wins 2 days, 3rd still wins 1 day, and nobody in 4th moves up.
- No X account needed. Anyone can win. If you've linked X you're tagged in the announcement, and if you haven't we use your display name.
- Dead heats. Places go by leaderboard position. Players who finish level share the place, and every one of them gets that place's prize. If 2 players tie for the top, both win 3 days, and the next player on the board is 3rd and wins 1 day.
- Winning again. If you already hold prize days from an earlier win, your new days are added after them, so you always get the full number of new days. Finish 1st on a Monday and you have Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Finish 3rd on the Tuesday as well and you get Friday on top.
There's nothing to opt into. Enter your NAP, NB and 3B as normal (see How do I play the NAP Competition?) and you're in.
Saturdays are the biggest cards of the week. On Saturday 12 September our Top Rated, Krasimir, won at Leopardstown at an XSP of 12.00.
When it lands
The prizes are settled at the day's final leaderboard update, once the last race is in. At that moment:
- Each winner gets a notification in the app and an email telling them which days they've won.
- The top 3 are announced on X with the top of the daily leaderboard.
- If you finished 1st, a celebration pops up with your winning score the next time you open the ratings.
Then just log in on the day and the full ratings are there. Nothing to claim, nothing to activate.
If a race result is held up and the day can't be settled that evening, the prizes are settled the next morning as soon as the result is in, and your days start that same day. You still get every day you won.
1st place on a Thursday runs right through to Sunday. On Sunday 20 September our Top Rated, Bradbury, won at Hamilton at an XSP of 17.04.
What it covers
The prize unlocks the ratings pages on the site: the full racecard for every race on each of your days. It doesn't include the CSV and XLS downloads.
When it ends
The ratings unlock only for the days you won. After your last day you'll get a short notification that your free Premium ratings have ended. To keep the full ratings every day, you can upgrade to Premium at any time, or just finish in the top 3 again.
