# How to enter the day before racing

How-to all plans

You can enter the NAP Competition at any time after the next day's races have been published, usually around 1pm the day before racing.

You can enter the NAP Competition at any time after the races have been published (usually 1pm the day BEFORE racing).

It is really easy to enter and here's a video showing you how to get to 'tomorrow's' races and enter the NAP Competition.

It's that simple. There shouldn't ever be a reason why you were unable to enter!

Getting in the night before gives you time to study the card properly rather than rushing a pick on the morning. For more on exactly when cards appear and how the ratings refresh, see [When are ratings published and how often updated?](https://ratingtheraces.com/troubleshooting/ratings-publish-time/).

For the full entry walkthrough see [How do I play the NAP Competition?](https://ratingtheraces.com/nap-competition/how-to-play-nap/), then keep an eye on the [leaderboards](https://ratingtheraces.com/nap-competition/leaderboards/) once results come in.

Good luck everyone!
